Mignon ( Mukti ) is a musician and sacred activist. She has been performing professionally on stages and festivals around the world for 30 years with multicultural music and mantra.
She made her mark performing and organising resistance concerts in South Africa during the apartheid regime. She led the first GLBT Pride March with her powerful songs and sings at rallies for human rights and the planet around the world.
Her music embodies social ecology in action, gathering communities of musicians together. Mignon's powerful songs of social change cross many cultures to blend with ease and a sense of passion and rawness from South African township rhythms to folk, world music, kirtan and spiritual chants. Crystal Alchemy bowls, RAV Vast Handpan, Gong and Drums create a fusion of Mantra Music and Sound Healing. Mignon has been studying Sanskrit, Mantra and Nada Yoga and uses a fusion of mantra and sound healing and multicultural chants to invoke the resonance of the divine mother
