Škofja Loka is a band from Belgrade, Serbia who counts 10 people. This organism of furious rhythms as a mix-breed of live instrumental music and electronic sound waves, led by a vocal duo on heels "Infernal meringues"(Puslice iz pakla). Their music relies on the most diverse musical styles from rock'n'roll, through pop, afrobeat, funk, punk, electric boogie, noise and hip-hop. Their expression is a spontaneous combination of these musical directions, as well as a mix of Belgrade's urban sound based on the new wave, across the alternative and urban pop scene of the nineties, to new forms, all that under the influence of the city and the midday in which we live. The music is danceable and emotional, the lyrics combine parts of the inner life of a modern woman with the external influences of the city environment. The band members described that direction as Women's Power Pop with a propensity to embrace each soulmate with open arms.
