Hey team - another quick post to thank you all for your patience - whether it be new viewers or loyal followers. I know I have been absent for a few months but new content is just around the corner. My first few months in Shanghai was either in an isolation hotel, lockdown, or a covid hospital (yes, like the ones you saw on the news) 😫.
Since coming out of lockdown the priority has been to find somewhere to live and to get the family settled - I'm sure you can appreciate that. Thank you for those who have stuck with me and hopefully those that haven't will come back. I'm working on a new video at the moment with my brand spanking Mini 3. In the meantime, here's a few pictures of my new surroundings around the apartment we have signed up for. Cheers! Mike

So this happened...
I finally have a DJI Mini 3 in my hands - actually got it a while back but have been crazy busy getting the family established in post-lockdown Shanghai - video on the way, and, let's just say the maiden voyage didn't go to plan (does it ever!?) 🤣

Hey team - quick update for all of you who have been asking. Still in lockdown here in Shanghai, but signs that it may ease soon. Allowed out once per day to go and get a PCR test, today took a pic of the DJI store in the middle of Shanghai, not far from where I am living. As soon as we are out, I will be paying a visit to get a Mini 3 - stay tuned for some videos featuring some awesome footage from Shanghai :-)

Hi team! Just wanted to say hi and give you a quick update! We made it to Shanghai early March, and of the 62 days here, we have been in isolation, lockdown, (or in my case a quarantine hospital after catching covid) for all but 5 of those days. Obviously that has made making videos pretty much impossible. I am watching with interest the announcements about the Mini 3, and I can confirm that I will be getting one as soon as I can, and initially I will post some footage of videos from the drone and our 26th floor apartment in the middle of Shanghai! There is a DJI store literally 10min walk from the apartment, so as soon as lockdown lifts I will be high-tailing it to get one. Stay safe everyone!

The aim of this channel has changed in recent months due to the global pandemic. It still aims to inspire you to try new things, but has morphed from travel tips and things to do - to more of technology and tech tips related to YouTube and vlogging.
I aim to upload weekly, but lately (early 2021) it has generally been at least twice a week.
