Halloween makeup isn’t that bad! I created my own character: King of the Undead. As the night progressed, the makeup started to peel off which made a really cool decaying skin effect!

I have a lecture coming up May 1st! It’s titled “United in Grief.” The title is inspired by @kendricklamar’s record Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, as well as my own journey with grief from childhood, adolescence & into adulthood now. I’m discussing the interconnected threads of grief, hip-hop & Africana studies 🎓 I’ll share more details about this soon.
