Tattoo University is back on track. Posting more videos. I've made some improvements again so there will be better content. There is a lot of helpful information coming your way. The videos will be reorganized so that they make more sense. I'm going to focus on stuff that will really move you forward as an artist. I have a book full of video ideas if I can get the time and resources to do them. I have been working on some side stuff that will also help everyone out. I'm writing some books and 3d printing new tattoo equipment. If that wasn't enough I also decided to help out some animal rescues. My wife and I have been rescuing animals and finding helping them find homes. We have been taking care of and adopting out the kittens at PetSmart. I'm collecting some funds to feed animals and get my products available to you guys. If you love to help out the animals check out tats_n_rescues on instagram. Below are two dogs that we rescued. Winston stayed with us and you will probable see him hanging out with me in some of the videos. The other dog was dumped in an orange orchard and we had to trap him. If you have learned and improved from this channel show your support by donating money. Cash app $TattooUniversity or PayPal jauntyartist@gmail.com . I'm working on Patreon and other funding sites right now. That should be available soon. Thanks for all of your support. I hope you keep watching the channel and learning all you can.

Some behind the scenes information for you Tattoo University (TU) fans. This channel has a life of its own and pretty much created itself. It wasn't planned out and organized. I was posting videos on Facebook for a small group of people. Then I realized these videos would help more people if I posted them on YouTube. When the numbers started growing it encouraged me to post more videos. Knowing they were helping you guys kept them going.
The videos I first posted were horrible quality and I'm still working on improving them. Tattooing was hard enough to learn. Now I had to tattoo and shoot video. I don't have a camera crew doing this. Then I had to come up with new ways to teach tattooing. I had to get real creative with the visuals. Some things worked and a lot of things failed. There were experiments that bombed. One time the mic broke on the camera and I didn't know it. Shot an entire video twice because I had to trash the first one with no audio. I learned to shoot a test video before doing the whole thing. It has been a struggle and that is okay with me. I really enjoy the challenge.
I haven't posted anything really good for about a year now. Life is also challenging and it likes to throw things in our way. I'm writing this to let you guys know new videos are on their way. Let you guys know I'm still alive and working on stuff. I'm dedicated to improving the channel and making it different from all of the rest. This channel is different because it is focused on teaching you something. Not just being flashy and trying to look cool. Nothing but the facts and give you ways to practice. Practicing the right way is the only way you can make quality improvements.
I've been working on ways to organize these videos so it makes more sense. You will see a lot of changes because I think it will improve how you guys learn. I'm working on my YouTube skills so videos can be posted correctly. It is time to tame this wild beast and put it to work. I appreciate all of your support. Thank you for putting up all of my mistakes (learning opportunities). When you see the changes being made know it will support your learning. That is what we are really about. We just don't want to dance around like idiots trying to look cool.
This channel is for the tattoo artist who want to make improvements. People who are willing to take the time to learn and practice correctly. All of the new stuff will be focused in an orderly way. Focused on giving you information in sequence that will help you learn better. I'm trying to give you guys something that was not available before. A way to educate yourself about tattooing presented in an orderly fashion. I want to give you guys a reference to your tattooing questions. A system that will help you learn and practice.

Working on making the channel better. I haven't posted a video in a while. This shouldn't be a concern. If I get too busy for videos it means I'm working on something good. I will always come back and share what I was doing. Right now I've been building tattoo machines. Building equipment to build tattoo machines. Just building all kinds of stuff so I can figure out a process to share with you. Will be back soon.
