!!! ⚠️ TW: Mentions of school shootings ⚠️ !!!

Hey!!!! This is just a small post about the things going on around here, I know many people don't need to worry about it, but this is becoming a really serious situation. I'm just going to be talking about a few school shootings and what schools do, Recently, there has been a school shooting in what I believe was a combined elementary school and middle school, It was an older child (13 I think) who had shot up the school and guess who called the police? A 2ND GRADER!!!! And it's honestly terrifying to think of a 7 - or 8 year old calling the cops while hearing all the gunshots. The PTSD and trauma this child must've suffered is heartbreaking. And Recently, many schools have been banning phones in North America, this Act is planning to happen to all schools, my school already has this rule and we're only allowed to have it in our lockers, if anyone is cought with a phone out then they Immediately get suspended because teachers say that if we call our relatives during a fire then the roads will get all blocked up. BUT WHAT ABOUT SCHOOL SHOOTINGS?!?! What if that 2nd grader didn't have a phone on them? At my school, the teachers don't teach us how to call 911 on their cheap ass school phones, and it's terrifying. Us children do not feel safe even walking into schools here in America, this is supposed to be the land of the free but how are we free when children are getting killed by the second? This is not freedom. This is torture. And I hope some day we can make a difference. Bless the children and professors who had their lives stolen by these monsters 🙏
