The Austrian Centre for Peace (ACP) was founded in September 1982 as an independent, non-profit and non-partisan organisation. Our vision is a world where different people with different backgrounds and circumstances are willing and able to recognise and address conflicts by non-violent, constructive, and sustainable means. We contribute to this vision with our academic research, training and conflict transformation programmes.
