JNC - Jaiñtia National Council is a Non-Governmental Organization established on 10 July 2015, with it's Motto- "Tia chaphrang khon ka Ri" to protect, safeguard and fight for the rights of Jaiñtia's people and serve for the betterment and great relief to the indigenous tribe of the Hynñiewtrep Ynñiaw wasa with no tiredness. Since its inception, JNC has made significant contributions towards bringing justice to indigenous Students, Youths and people of Jaiñtia and Hynñiewtrep as a whole. But perhaps, one of the most important aspects of the Council was to raised Voices against the banned Coal Mining in Jaiñtia hills and the unabated influx of illegal migration.
