I worked with an amazing team to create this song. We were in Studios de la Seine and this idea of a song who speaks about a nostalgic Paris came to our mind. The wonderful Michelle Leonard had knitted the words to make it more poetic with an orchestra that Tim Bran imagined with his limitless creativity. The puzzle we did the three of us worked amazingly well and gave birth to: « Midnight in Paris »

(EN) I wanted this album, The Game, to sound like a puzzle (a playlist).The title is a reference to the cruel game that takes place between life and death. The outcome of the game is inevitable, yet we must play to find out who we really are.

(FR) J’ai voulu cet album, The Game, comme un puzzle (une playlist). Son titre est inspiré de l’idée du jeu qui s’installe entre la vie et la mort. On en connaît par avance l’issue mais il faut jouer la partie jusqu’au bout pour apprendre qui nous sommes réellement.

Ps: I was about to call this album « Return to Innocence » as I deeply think it has the same meaning as the explanation of « The Game » and as a tribute to Enigma’s song but then after discussing it with the best Tim bran, I’ve decided to be a bit more subtil by calling it « The Game ». I hope you’ll like the cover and the name. ☁️

Gjon's Tears will finally reveal himself. Reveal everything. It may seem strange to say such a thing. After all, since he was young, he’s been in the limelight in both France and Switzerland. He has released singles to his increasingly large fanbase. Not to mention, Tout l’univers (pun intended!) that he brought to the Eurovison contest, (finishing third), and which has accumulated a massive 55 million streams already. And finally, one cannot forget Pure, his latest track, produced by Nicolas Rebscher (Alice Merton, Aurora…).

The 24-year-old boy’s goal is laudable: to break down barriers, tear up labels and to pave his own way.. Such an aim makes perfect sense, flowing on naturally from his upbringing, and rich pop heritage.
