Michael Barthel and his son David are musicians/songwriters based out of Indianapolis.
Teaming up with Nashville producer/songwriter Nik Gienger, the band, "Barthel" has recorded five new songs set for release.
The first of which, My Hometown, comes out everywhere on February 18. It is a passionate rock song that reflects one's longing for their hometown. Michael traveled to London England in December 2022 and spent two days at the legendary Abbey Road Studios recording the vocals for these songs.
A stage-savvy veteran that has been playing the midwest bar and club circuit for the past 20 years, he has had the humbling opportunity to share the stage with many national artists. David has been playing with his dad for the past 5 years in the local Indianapolis band, Mike + The Boys. "Barthel" will be available for national booking in 2023.
