4 years ago today, on November 5, 2016 - as a 44-year-old women from Munich - I successfully completed my SKS license and have been sailing chartered yachts in Croatia with my boys (back then 14,12 and 10 years old). Back then it took a lot of courage to charter a ship alone with my children and to go on this great sailing trip.
Meanwhile, over 3,000 wonderful nautical miles lie behind me, 2,100 of them as a skipper.
Fortunately for me, I have been accompanied by a newcomer to sailing since 2018, who is just as enthusiastic about the way of traveling as I am. On 2 trips with friends, I try to collect as many experiences as possible and can hardly wait to get back on a ship;). In the meantime a lot of video material has come together from 11 trips, which I am now gradually making available to my family, friends and interested parties. Have fun sailing along;)
