For years Ive said that 255/80/17 is the best tire for this platform. That said, lately with the big rocks out here in the west Ive really wanted 35s. 2in is alot in alot of different things, tires & clearance is some of them!! @kendatiresusa makes a 35x10.5 that I think may be the perfect fit for the 5th gen 4Runner to run 35s without major modifications. With the @AlldogsOffroadCoop suspension these skinny 35s on a +1 offset @KMCLikeNoOther wheel fit with very little rubbing even before performing the popular body mount chop. Im super stoked to see if this combo changes my mind about tires.

About the past couple weeks!! Nomad party in the desert at the annual Journal of Lost Time Moonlanding where I promptly got extremely ill with some sorta something. Shacked up with Lady Kristi in an Air BNB for a week where Im finally getting better. Luckily Ive been working on videos so stay tuned for the next adventure video

Running Black Bear Pass in Colorado without storms and hail was a first. Alot of folks are scared of this 12,840ft pass in reality it’s about 1.5hr trip (with no traffic) with a 5-10min sketchy pucker factor just as you crest the summit at the famous steps obstacle
Fun Fact this is the 4th time I’ve run the iconically scary pass from Silverton to Telluride and every times its always been raining storming and a few times hailing. Today it was dry for the most part which is good because I had exceptionally horrible traction in the few wet areas we experienced along the way.
