Hello, I'm Mauricio Carrasco Fernández, medievalist and an early music musician (countertenor, tenor, hurdy-gurdy player and apprentice of various ancient instruments), member of some early music ensembles (Cappella Novohispana, Fauvel Consort, Arcadia Ego, Tempora Vagantibus, Vox Aliqua) and a humanities and arts enthusiast.
I love and enjoy connecting various disciplines, in order to better understand the music that I study and play, and with this I can try to get a little closer to the sound that that music might have originally had.
