Last minute Challenge for those brave enough to take the plunge!

We are hanging in there, Day 7 still no power, but I do see a light at the end of the tunnel. Workers have begun cutting down the trees that lay on the power lines...Yaaay! Slowly, but surely👍
Since Helene made her mark I've been going down a rabbit hole, again... research, again, and although I know it's not the best thing for me (for several reasons) I still consume it 😳COFFEE!!! Coffee=Cortisol=belly fat plain and simple. My problem area is the mid section, it always has been, and if I want to rid my body of it I have to do the hard things.
I ❤️ coffee as much as the next person, maybe even more as I have a coffee pot, espresso maker, pour over, French Press, percolator, and an aero press. I've used them all, currently I enjoy a cup of coffee 2-3x a day. At least I'm no longer drinking up to 2 pots a day. Through experimentation I've learned that I simply cannot moderate; it always creeps back in and returns to a daily habit.
My last run without it was 50 days, so starting tomorrow I will break this record. I will miss the warmth of a cup in hand, the aroma of a pot brewing, and the comfort it gives me. But I gotta do what's best for me.
I NEVER felt better than when I went without, why would I go back to it???🤔 So here I go again...starting tomorrow.

Hey gang!! Well, today is day 5 without power here at the house following hurricane Helene. It's been a stressful week but we have it easier than a lot of folks do right now. We were prepared for an emergency so we have a generator and enough meat in our freezer for 30 days. We got the fallen tree off the house and clean up is slow going. Thank you for all your thought and prayers during this time.❤️ We have no internet so we can't conclude our September Walking Challenge with a video like normal so if you want to report your weightloss for the month, do it in the comments of this post. I'll tally them up and report the results back to you here on another community post in a few days. We attempted a test live stream with our phone but our cell service is also very spotty so that was a bust. Lol Basically we are in a state of limbo at the moment and look forward to getting back to normal. Love you guys. See you soon❤️👊

I can't believe I was the person on the left not that long ago! It still blows my mind that I allowed myself to become so unhealthy. It took a lifetime to develop terrible habits, but thanks to the carnivore diet I'm creating a new lifestyle where I'm healthier, happier, calmer, oh yeah and CANCER FREE!!!!! I'm loving how things are going, but I'm not done yet😘

Today is my Mom's Birthday. Her name was Marsha and she would have been 75 today. I always say my dad was my hero and my mom was my best friend. She was so kind, generous and she made the world a better place. She helped me pick out Cassie's engagement ring but she was taken from us a few months before our wedding but I had a picture of her in my jacket pocket when we said our vows. She had such an awesome smile and she adored Cassie. I go over what happened the day she was murdered in this video. I'm sure our new viewers haven't seen it so here's the link if you'd like to.
