Created by MPAC (Millikan Parents Action Committee) in response to the major budget cuts on the California public school system. Over 7200 teachers and support staff are at risk including Magnet Coordinators who are the only ones who manage the Magnet School system. Our mission is to put pressure on key Republican Senators in order to vote on the Brown Tax Extension, which will save 80% of the 7200 teachers and support staff who were pink slipped. Time is very crucial because if the Tax Extension is not voted for before June 30th it will expire and those 7200 teachers and support staff will be let go.
