In 2016 December, Ishrak, Lahiru, Harshana, Thilina and Saranga introduced a tea joke in the form of a video and there began Babala. What began as a mere joke became an addictive and an awaiting vine of comedy videos.

The ever-so authentic yet catchy name "Babala" meaning is 'Babies'.
Babala is a proud production of five talented actors, with the use of an iPhone 7 and many a different cameramen. The regularity of the production are the definite main actors whilst co-actors and extras may change depending on the location and script.
