Welcome to my journey from being raised poor and on my own to purchasing a $50 000 home with acreage near the ocean.My goal has been to get out of the rent trap and own a home without a mortgage or loan.Finally in 2020 I was able to move across the country to a home and land and start building a homestead.I don't have help unless I can pay someone to do work so I have to learn how to do things and figure it out!I was raised in the city across from Detroit and went to public school (meaning I learned next to no life skills other than life experience).Im in the country debt free but it comes at a price!
