Japanese Breakfast played a secret surprise show last night and I just barely made it! Michelle and Peter performed 10 songs acoustic, mixed with a bunch of new tracks off the upcoming album as well as songs from their previous albums + Little Big League. You can find the performance on my recent uploads + the playlist. Listen at your own risk or skip them until the album comes out if you want to avoid spoilers.
After the set I was able to gift a few printed photos I took a few years back at Brooklyn Steel to Michelle. I hope she likes them and maybe even puts one on her fridge! After failing to get on the Jimmy Fallon show last week with Japanese Breakfast performing "Orlando in Love" it was nice getting this win the books.

I was completely obsessed with Something Corporate's music in the early 2000s but never got to see them perform since I was just a young lad in high school. Well fast forward twenty-ish years and finally I got a chance to see them live and it was a total nostalgia bomb. While on line waiting to get in, Andrew came out of the venue on his way to dinner and ambushed me and the group of fans around me. He was courteous enough to allow me to shoot his portrait against Brooklyn Steel's wall and gave me a dap and thanked me for being there. I hope he recognized the vintage merch T-shirt my older brother bought, and I inherited, that is probably 20 years old as well. It was a millennial dream come true! Videos of the show on my channel now, I didn't have the best view but the experience overall isn't something I'll forget anytime soon.

Welcome to my new account! My original account was taken down by The New Yorker Magazine for covering their events at the New Yorker Festival. Over the last 15 years or more, I had amassed over 5200 videos, 10.7K subscribers, and 13 million views. Thank you for being there with me.
Time to start from scratch again 😭.
I'm working on getting my old channel restored but it may take time and resources, maybe even requiring to hire a copyright lawyer.
