in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
Same amount of hair but a little darker then... 😄 This came up in my memories from a decade ago, where I (Joel) shared some correspondence that Mike Kapler and I had received from Growing in Grace listeners, talking about the horrible fear and bondage that they experienced due to legalistic and religious teachings, and then some correspondence about how hearing about the grace of God set them free. We might say one or two things slightly differently these days, but as we're approaching 20 years of the podcast, our reason for doing it remains the same.

Hello Growing in Grace listeners! For some reason, this week's podcast is currently stuck on "processing will begin shortly" here on YouTube. We're looking into this, but for now you can listen to our latest episode (985. Fully Accomplished: The Law, The Prophets and The Psalms Fulfilled) at growingingrace.org/ or on other platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Pandora. It has not showed up on iHeartRadio, so I'm not sure what is wrong with the feed. I know this YouTube format is very popular with our listeners, so thank you for finding an alternative way to listen to this episode until things are resolved (hopefully soon!).

Attention Grace Roots/Growing in Grace listeners and subscribers! The Growing in Grace podcast is now available as a YouTube podcast, and can be listened to here on YouTube or via YouTube Music (in addition to other podcast platforms).
As you know, the podcast has already been available on YouTube since 2011, as I've been creating a video every week which contains the audio content of each new episode. But I'll no longer be doing that, as the new YouTube podcast feature will *automatically* upload each new episode and create both a video and a podcast episode!
YouTube spent the past couple of weeks uploading every single past episode of Growing in Grace (several episodes a day - 995 episodes total, including guests and special podcasts), and finally I received the go-ahead to publish it - so it's now completely available worldwide. I'll leave the past videos up, because I don't want to delete all the wonderful listener comments from the past 13 years, so you'll perhaps be seeing double when it comes to past episodes.

Hey you. Yes, YOU! God has *still* not stopped loving you! He never will! There's nothing you can do to make Him love you more and nothing you can do to make Him love you less.

"Love is patient. Love is kind."
(1 Cor 13:4)
"God is love."
(1 John 14:6)
God is patient and kind.
"...when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy."
(Titus 3:4-5)
Rest easy.

Read my lips: No new podcast. (This week.) But we do have almost a thousand points of light (past episodes) to turn to in lieu of something new, and here is one of my past faves that you also may enjoy.
In this episode from June of 2020 we responded to a listener who seemed to be struggling with some things and asked a simple question, "How do I enjoy God?" We shared some perspectives that came from a few scriptures and from our hearts, and we hope that some of what we said can be helpful to you if you find yourself in a place where you're wanting to experience the freedom and joy of the Lord.

Hey everyone... wanted to let you all know that due to some health issues we won't have a new Growing in Grace podcast this coming week (the week of July 9). Hopefully we'll be back by the following week. In the meantime, feel free to go back and listen to any of our many past episodes, either here or at growingingrace.org or on your favorite podcasting app.

Hey all! We've been quite comfortable on YouTube for well over a decade, but we're always looking for new ways to share the good news, so now we're on Rumble as well. 😀 I (Joel) joined Rumble a couple of years ago, but it was only recently that I set up "YouTube Channel Sync" with it. So far, this week's episode is the only one that has synced (all the others say "Pending.") Rumble says it may take hours, days or weeks for a channel to sync, and with hundreds of videos I reckon it might take some time.
But hey, if you're on Rumble, click on the link below (be one of the first to see us on Rumble!) and "Follow" us (similar to YouTube's "Subscribe"). I'm hoping that at the very least, new episodes like this one will show up each week, and eventually all the past vids will show up as well. rumble.com/c/c-3286770

Hey everybody! I haven't had time to make this into a video yet, so I thought I'd share the link. I had the opportunity to interview Mike Adams of The UnSunday Show, and here is Part 1:
www.growingingrace.org/2022/0...
Part 2 will be posted next week. This week, Mike talks about the institutional church, and how it came to be the way it is, with its various ways and traditions that really don't line up with anything written within the pages of the New Testament writings. He also shares about his own journey of leaving the institutional church, along with his wife Susan - although by no means leaving the body of Christ or Jesus Himself.

"Having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Rom 5:1) "He Himself is our peace." (Eph 2:14) Our peace with God is a certain thing, because it's not based upon us, but upon the blood of Jesus.
"For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross." (Col 1:19-20)
It's not we who made peace with God, but God who made peace with us through the blood of Jesus. He initiated it because of His great love for us, even while we were still sinners, and He completed the work. All we do is receive His gift gladly and thankfully, by faith.
