🌏 Earthquake Update
This morning at 7:39 AM, a Magnitude 5.9 earthquake hit San Francisco, Southern Leyte, according to the NDRRMC. I felt it here, but thankfully, it wasn’t too strong where I am in Leyte. San Francisco is about 62 miles (100 kilometers) from me and around 124 miles (200 kilometers) from Cebu City.
It was a bit shocking since this was my first earthquake experience, but everything seems fine here. The authorities have reported that aftershocks and potential damage are expected, so if you’re in the area, stay alert and prioritize your safety.
