OK, so. 99% done. Just soften the hairline and a few touch-up parts. Full walkthrough coming as soon as I can edit the hours and hours of footage!

OK so, I can't keep battling with skin tones. I'm have red green colour blindness so it's fricking hard to tell, especially under crap artificial lights in the evenings. š . Anyway this is where I'm at with the T800. Apart from maybe "weathering" the skin some, I need to hand paint the ripped skin, tidy his hairline out, apint the living eye, and LED the cyborg one. I might even attempt extra battle damage to match the movie...if I'm feeling idiotically daring!! Long full walkthrough vid coming ASAP. š¦š»

So progression IS being made on the T800 painting vid, however had a setback...
Chose gloss white and graphite rub for the chrome effect (another YouTuber's vid clearly showed the white gloss being brighter and more Terminator like, as opposed to gloss black which seems the norm). BUT for some reason the main cheek parts look darker than the recesses. So I sanded all the chrome-effect off, airbrushed the recesses in black, resprayed white on the main hero parts of the endoskeleton, and covered it in clear gloss.
So a days faffing about just to get back to square 1!! ah well, it's gonna be in the vid, so at least there's that!

Treated myself to a cute print overnight. 18cm high, would have been bigger, but would have run out of filament! āŗļø

Little and Large chilling after a very busy 10 days at KFS! The little lad is my repaint of Neca's 2009 T2 figure. The original looked like it was just in its base coat.
Right, gonna have me a drink or 3, ready for a weekend's painting the big lad!
Have a great weekend everyone! And thank you sooo much for the amazing reception to my revamped channel x

So, not that I'm an expert in Blender - far from it. But would people want to see the prep to make this low-profile version of the Sanix T800 head, including my own custom stand creation? If so it would have to be a Part 1: Blender prep and printing - Part 2: Painting, sort of thing. What do you wonderful people think?

Coming up!! A full walkthrough of how I printed and painted this life sized Alien Warrior xenomorph head!

So, this channel will be starting again, but changing it's content to 3D printing and painting. The channel has been dead for over a decade (if it was ever alive to begin with :D), but after lots of encouragement from friends and family, I want to share my fairly average skills and experiences making and painting cool models. Hope some of you long-loyal subscribers stay around and join me on my new YouTube adventure!! xx

Welcome to my channel! Iām just an everyday hobbyist who loves turning digital files into painted 3D creationsācomplete with all the mistakes, missteps, and lessons learned along the way. Armed with my Bambu A3 and Anycubic 4K printers, Iāll walk you through how i go about everything from slicing software (and thumbs) and settings to painting techniques and finishing touches. Think of this as a friendly space for those who enjoy model-making but arenāt necessarily pros. Weāll explore new projects, learn from errors, and discover awesome tools to make the process smoother.
Iāll also share links to the equipment, filaments, and paints I actually use (some may be affiliate links), so you can follow along at home if you like. Whether youāre just getting started or already deep into 3D printing and mini-painting, I hope youāll find something usefulāand plenty of funāright here. Thanks for joining me on this creative journey!
