Something snazzy to bring in the New Year (I wanted to put this out BEFORE the New Year, but there were considerable delays due to being indecisive in the color palette), but regardless, this here is a concept on the simple question of "What if Ellie had a sister?"
Meet Emelia Victoria Rai (or Emelia V. Rai (similar to Ellie T. Rai), the slightly younger sister to Ellie! (and by slightly younger, I mean by about a few weeks younger from Ellie), she's a bit more timid when compared to Ellie, but both of them share a passion for gaming!
Since I've been on and off with giving Ellie's underwear frilled edges, I figured I'd give it to Emelia, who sports a nifty plaid pattern! And while Ellie sports a blue outfit (along with the colors of a PlayStation controller), I felt Emelia's color palette could go in its own direction with a indigo palette, but she still has the pink hair like her sister!
Now, as for the name Emelia (or Emmy for short)? It goes beyond using the same first letter for Ellie, as when together, they could form the initials EE (a fun nod to the PlayStation 2's CPU), but it is also to honor my newborn niece who was born November 9, 2024!
The second image included here was Emelia's original hairstyle before I changed it, but I can swap to the prototype hairstyle if there's enough demand for it, I'm also open to suggestions for design tweaks for her.

After some careful consideration throughout today (12/29/2024), I'm afraid to say that finishing the Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories playthrough will have to wait until sometime in 2025, with where I'm at in the game and repeatedly failing at this one part, I feel as if I'm constantly running into a brick wall, which ultimately leaves me discouraged. This is pretty absurd, as I typically try to finish all playthroughs within the year, but this game is a particular exception.
Once again, sometime in 2025, I don't know when yet, but I just want to take the game off my mind for a while so I can focus on enjoying the game playthroughs for 2025.

While partially belated, here is a Christmas themed sketch of Ellie, provided by my good friend, Xero-J!
Although the sweater Ellie wears here is a bit more...basic, there's nothing wrong with a standard sweater! And frankly, Ellie looks pretty good in green (and red)!
Some might notice one change with Ellie's hair, and that's the shade of her hair color, with it being more of a rosy pink, and I've tried this shade of pink for Ellie's hair before (in a previous post here), but since this is the second time Ellie's hair color is this shade of pink, I want to ask, should her hair color stay like this? Or go back to the usual shade of pink? (I do quite like this shade of pink for her hair, gives her color palette a more warm vibe)

Merry Christmas 2024, everyone! Hope everybody is having a wonderful time together with family and loved ones. And now, as usual, my Christmas haul, it's nothing too special this time around, however, the Peanuts flourish and plaid jacket/coat are easily the highlights! As the former is a reminder to everyone that I'm a bit of a Peanuts fan, while the latter, well, I'm such a sucker for plaid!
I'm hoping I can go up to my favorite retro game store before 2024 ends, so, in the event that happens, I'll have a Part 2 for Christmas gifts!

I'm starting to think that it will eventually get to a point where I'm put in charge of ALL the cookies for the holiday baking, because I just made these, they are Cocoa Crinkle cookies.
Since we couldn't find the recipe we usually use, I was given a new recipe for these, I'd say they turned out well.

Saturday, December 21, 2024 marks the first day of the Winter season of 2024, and to mark the occasion, here's a warm, cozy sketch of Ellie!
I'd say Ellie looks great in a sweater, a refreshing change of pace compared to what she usually wears, especially with the frilly underwear, and stockings!
Now to address one thing that some may end up asking, I experimented with Ellie's hairstyle once again, and I am quite fond with this style for her, but chances are, I'll stick with her usual hairstyle and have this piece as an exception, or I could have her with this hairstyle going forward, who knows?
Have a wonderful Winter 2024 season, everyone! I'd still keep an eye on the weather, however.

Well, I guess it was fun while it lasted, I've enjoyed a good, consistent stream of views and subscribers for the past few months, but now that we're in December, it's back to the status quo, where view counts for videos are low, and subscriber numbers are coming in at a glacial pace...
Either YouTube broke something in an update to screw small accounts over again, or I could be buried in the content rush hour that is the month of December.

Back-to-back long and busy days huh? I made the shortbread and Peanut Butter Blossoms yesterday (12/18/2024), and now here I am making chocolate chip cookies today (12/19/2024), and while they were much simpler to make compared to the other day, I'm still having to stand up in the kitchen for hours.
I just don't have the energy for much on days like that, and so, while I don't exactly have adequate footage, Part 14 of the Blinx 2: Masters of Time & Space will be really bare-bones on progress through the game, sorry.

To those who watched Part 16 of the Jak 3 playthrough, this right here was why I had a long day yesterday (12/18/2024), I was busy making shortbread, but since I'm very inexperienced with shortbread, it didn't quite turn out too well. However, I've been waiting a whole year too use this ceramic shortbread pan that I got for Christmas 2023, and I finally got to try it out, I included some close-up shots to try and show the detail in the shortbread, as the pan is made to give the shortbread a design.
After that, I made some Peanut Butter Blossoms, and as far back as I can remember, we make these EVERY year during the holiday baking season. And so, with both of these made, I was basically standing up in the kitchen for about three hours, and I STILL had to get more Jak 3 footage on top of that, hence why I had a long day, and am so tired, but it's not the end of the world, at least I get to have cookies.
