Incredibly grateful for two sold out shows in Vilnius, hosted by @BelCantoChoirVilnius, and joined by @ascalpellamedicinskaforeni1513, Duodeco, @SingJamalSing, @MrTpavilionis, Maori artists Aritaku Robens and Roimata Kautai, and the immense forces of the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra.
Bel Canto Choir Vilnius is doing a great job making Lithuania a choral hot spot with their #opentotheworld Vocal Music festivals, led by Audrius Valatkevicius. It was my first time in the Baltics, and I was thrilled to meet people who flew in from the US, Canada, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Poland, Sweden, Austria, Slovenia, Slovakia and more.
See you next time, Vilnius!

In just one week I'll be in Vilnius conducting two full concerts of my music! These will be my first international performances since 2017, and @BelCantoChoirVilnius just shared this image which shows that people are flying in from all over the Europe and North America to attend, which makes me incredibly happy and grateful. If you're making the trip, come say hi after the concert! And if you're still looking for tickets, the link is in my bio. See you soon, Lithuania. ❤️

Today marks the 100th anniversary of the death of the great Giacomo #Puccini. His final opera Turandot was left incomplete at his death, which was a great loss for the opera world... however it did open up the opportunity for many composers over the last century to try their hand at completing it. I was lucky enough to be one such composer, and I'm eternally grateful to Washington National Opera and Francesca Zambello for the chance to launch my opera career with my own completion of Turandot, alongside my librettist Susan Soon He Stanton.
While we haven't made a recording yet, Boosey & Hawkes has our new ending available for programming. Future runs are already being planned internationally, and I look forward to sharing the news with you all. But for today, in tribute to the great maestro, I'll just be playing 'Nessun Dorma', 'Tu Che di Gel', and 'Indietro Cani!' and other fantastic pieces in my head, reliving with great fondness one of the absolute highlights of my career.

Had a great chat with the Art Restart podcast at the @kenaninstituteforthearts6158 about how I've been finding new paths to creative freedom by letting go of old ways of thinking, and how the support of my fans powers my creativity. Since my last post, people have been reaching out sharing clips of other skaters competing with my music. And they're amazing! Mao Shimada of Japan has been winning youth championships everywhere to "Mado Kara Mieru" (and today is her 16th birthday!). Haein Lee (South Korea) has been medaling to a short program of "Seirenes' and "Haktan Gelen Serbeti". And Peng Cheng/Wang Lei (China) have been pairs skating to "Haf Gengr Hridum". Just incredible athleticism paired with beautiful choreography. I'm so excited by this trend! Links to all routines in my Linktree. #iceskating #figureskating #skating

I've been following Team Japan in the ISU 2024 #SkateCanada competition. Three of their figure skaters are skating to my music, and two just medaled! Huge congrats to Rino Matsuike for her silver ("Lux Aeterna"), Hana Yoshida for her bronze ("Temen Oblak") and Sota Yamamoto (for his routine to "Sogno di Volare"). I've posted links to all three routines in my Linktree. Go Japan! I'm a fan and will be rooting for you!
