We have a log cabin and a home in the woods in North Central Minnesota. We raise chickens for eggs and a few useless pet roosters that free range in the milder temperature months and have a dog and a few rescue cats. We feed the wild life so we have daily visits from wild turkeys and deer and a verity of birds. There are bald eagles that nest in our tall white pines. Bear, wolfs and cougars roam the woods around us from time to time and an occasional cow that escapes the farmers fence.
