Fourteen years since I posted my version of the song 'When This Bloody War is Over' - and war isn't over yet! So as it is Remembrance Day (11.11) the song is still here ....

I started playing guitar aged 14. I'm self-taught apart from my first four chords - G, Em, Am, D - shown to me by the late Mick Rhodes. Later, I learned a lot from Stefan Grossman's Country Blues Series. Having taught my grandson acoustic guitar, he has moved on to electric. So now I am having to learn a new set of skills just to keep up with him! Fortunately there are some great teachers on YouTube.
My favourite artists include Mississippi John Hurt & the Rev Gary Davis. Also Roy Buchanan, Lonnie Mack, Lightnin' Hopkins.......
