I am sorry for how quiet this channel has become! I am working on publishing books for the fall season (I've released a book on Mabon, and I am furiously working on editing my Samhain book to have it out in time for Halloween) and I've let my Epidemic Sound subscription lapse so I can focus on just one thing at a time.
Thank you all for your support so far! Hopefully, I can have this book done by the weekend and I can take a breather so I can finally finish these autumn ambience videos!

So many ambience projects in the pipeline after taking a wee break to work on creating some coloring books.
I haven't much been feeling creating music videos lately--I've been consuming them, and have a delightful Hogsmeade ambience and music video on in the background as I type this--but the cicadas and crickets as night here have made me crave creating more ambient noise videos. I have some ideas percolating for autumn coffee shops and dark academia piano videos, but they will have to wait.

I am WAY TOO EXCITED for this video to keep it a secret like I wanted to. I'm so pleased with how well the audio and visuals came together in this project to create the mysterious and yet whimsical atmosphere I only dreamed it would evoke. I'll post a Short later (it's already on TikTok but YouTube does better with the longer shorts than TikTok does, all my sub-10s shorts seem to never get any views...)

The short version: YAY, I have internet, my creativity is back, and I have a video exporting right now. It's got rain, fire, and if you listen really closely, you can hear the frogs in the forest...
The long, exhausted, and definitely not eloquent version: Y'all. I am TOO OLD and have TOO MANY KIDS to be moving across the country like that. We drove from Colorado to Virginia in 26 hours, door to door (meaning we drove through the night with three kids--8, 6, and 10 months, they did AMAZING). Then we decided that, since we still had another 7 days before our new lease started, we were going to drive to New York to visit my family. So, 9 hours door to door there. Then we drove back to Virginia, and immediately unloaded all our things from our moving boxes into a storage unit. THEN we moved into the new place. THEN we moved furniture from the storage unit into the apartment. THEN we had to put the furniture together. THEN...my spouse got sick. Which leads us to this morning, when I was finally able to breathe for a moment, drink some coffee with the rising sun, and put the finishing touches on this piece I've been working towards finishing on and off for a few days. I'm working hard on trying to get tiny movements down, it's a difficult skill and I'm far from competency, let alone mastery.
I hope you all have been having a wonderful summer, or winter if you're in the southern part of the world, and I'm excited to be back!

Yes yes, I said I would slow down during our move, but these two projects I'd put on the back-burner just came back to me as I was sitting and staring off into the pool whilst my eldest children swam...at 8 PM. Now I cannot sleep until at least one of these videos is exported. Which do you think will come first...;)

Spent a few days at this lovely spa hotel before heading off for a stressful few days of moving across the country. It was such a lovely relaxing ambient experience ๐งโโ๏ธ but now the real adventure begins. I have one more video coming out this week and releases will slow down until next week!

Wow, I can't believe I broke 300 subscribers! I started this channel as a hobby and creative outlet because I love ambience videos, and wanted to create my own soundscapes and stories. I'm just so pleased that others want to accompany me on this journey!
I have some new videos coming next week including a seaside cottage, a treehouse in the woods, and a cottage in the woods (I think there are some common themes there). I can't seem to get enough of cute little cottages, and I'm almost finished with this one here, which reminds me of the little cabin I used to live in by a lake in the woods.
I'm going to try super hard to keep my schedule up over the next few weeks, but exciting things are happening, and I don't know that I'll be able to finish as many as I'd like before I have less reliable internet...more on that soon ๐ But here is a sneak preview for the week of July 3
