NATHAN C. WALKER, author of "Exorcising Preaching: Crafting Intellectually Honest Worship" (Chalice Press 2014), is a Unitarian Universalist minister whose preaching has received international attention. Walker's sermons and research on religious freedom as a fundamental human right were presented at the Human Rights Commission of the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. His sermon on the intersection of religion and politics became the basis for the book he co-edited with Edwin J. Greenlee, "Whose God Rules? Is the United States a Secular Nation or a Theolegal Democracy?" (Palgrave Macmillan 2011). Tony Blair wrote the foreword to "Whose God Rules?" and Dr. Cornel West referred to the book as "provocative and pioneering." For fifteen years, Walker served congregations in Boston, New York, and Philadelphia, the last seven as the Senior Minister and Executive Director of the First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia.
