Hi everybody!
Itās been a minute since my last update, but Iām back with just slightly more information!
As you all may have noticed the video is back up, so you all can enjoy the wonderful artists who volunteered their work for this video project! The video no longer has ads on it, but it really important to me that the artists get the shine they deserve!
The final fundraising total that I have listed in my adsense tab is $45,429.58, which is the amount (to my current knowledge anyway) that Youtube will be donating on the projectās behalf!
I suggested The Bail Project organisation as the location for the donation, as they distribute funds to bail funds across the nation, and pledge that 100% of their funds are used to bail people out and put an end to people staying in custody only because they cannot afford to leave. As of today, Youtube is still reviewing The Bail Project as an appropriate donation location, and they said they will likely have more information after July 4th!
Once I get their donation confirmation I plan to make and post a follow-up video detailing everything, and answering a few FAQs, so if you have any questions about any of this process, the donation, the video etc. Iād love to hear and answer it!

Hi everyone!
Once again I wanted to thank you all for the massive support on this project, and Iām so proud of all the good that you all have created just by watching. I hope youāve found some new artists to enjoy and found a desire to always lend a helping hand where you can!
Recently, I spoke with a representative at YouTube about the video fundraiser and it was found to violate Google monetization guidelines, in that it encourages āusers to click or watch ads to increase the contributionā and I am working with them to amend that so that the video can return and stay up!
However, because YouTube so believed in the essence of the project, they have committed to making a donation equal to what all of you have raised in the name of the project. Iām still looking at which organisations will get what, and the final donation amount, but to say a phrase iāve gotten very used to saying this week, āIāll let you know when I know!ā
The video will still be up on my channel although youāll notice thereās no more ads to watch, and the title and intro may be a little different, but I still want you all to be able to enjoy the supremely talented artists involved. Please check them out on all of their listed social media, for this project wouldnāt be possible without them!
Iād also like to thank all of the media outlets and creators using their platforms to give this project some shine. Your dedication to using your voice to share and do good work speaks volumes and I am entirely grateful. Perhaps more importantly, to all of you people who shared this video on your instagram, spoke about it with your friends and families, tweeted and watched and were excited at a way to help that you couldnāt otherwise, I am BEYOND proud of you, and thank you for being part of the power behind social change.

Hi, well okay it looks like youtube took it down again. Iāll see if it comes right back this time again but, I am more than a bit concerned this time as a lot of creators with similar videos have had theirs taken down in the past few days and not put back up for appeal.
Itās very LIKELY people mass reporting these videos that gets them taken down and maybe youtube will address that by putting it right back again. Itās likely not youtube corporate actively taking these videos down, but if itās not people reporting and itās actual youtube taking action against these videos that is... disturbing to say the least

Here to update yāall again!
So, weāve raised quite a bit more money, which is always EXCITING and iām glad to share that with you all! Iām currently researching on which organisations will get what $ amount, and iāll keep you guys updated on that.
From what Iāve seen on the YouTube monetisation FAQs, Adsense money isnāt paid out until mid-month the month AFTER you āmake the moneyā so I may not be able to actually donate until July, which is a little frustrating on one hand, but might just mean that we need to focus our donation funds on organisations like the ACLU and Black Visions Collective rather than bail funds.
As always, Iāll keep you guys updated on everything as I know it!

No new super big logistical updates today, but I do have a revenue update for you all!
Again I'd really like to thank you all for watching, sharing, and discussing ways to organize and fight for equity, representation, and justice for black lives, and for other social change. A big thank you to the influencers and media outlets that have reached out to share and amplify this video project, and a massive and continuous thank you to all of you for watching and especially for using your own voices to contribute to something that matters.

As Iām working through and talking to much more qualified people than myself, making sure all of the proceeds will be properly distributed, but hereās the numbers that I have currently on what youāve all raised together!

Hi Community!
So first off... WOW I didn't expect this to be as large as it is and I'm so glad that a lot of you see this as an outlet to help raise money for an issue that you believe in. That's really the goal of all of this, and I'm glad to see so many of you talking and engaging with your own friends and family about Black Lives Matter, police brutality, and social justice.
I wanted to post my first update about revenue!
All revenue reports are on like a 2 1/2 day lag, so I thought it should be known that this is from only the first few hours of the video being up, and a VAST VAST majority of the revenue is yet to be counted.
Here's a screenshot of my revenue analytics page, and lemme explain basically what's on it!
The first count of estimated revenue is at $473.44, and the CPM also known as the "cost per thousandā, is $2.81 per thousand advertisement views. To MY KNOWLEDGE, based on what I've asked you guys, a full view of the video had been bringing about 18 ads.
I'm gonna keep sharing all that I know with you all, as soon and as actively as I know it.
I'm grateful to all of you for being committed to a message, and send my love accordingly.
