While still looking for a most suitable GaGG crystal for scintillators hacking, I want to focus on LoRA communication and more specifically, Reticulum network. I recently added two more scintillators to my collection: a Scionix NaI(Ti) tube with Theremino PMT Adapter and a cheap BRS-02. In 2025, I’m gonna get GAGG (Gadolinium Aluminum Gallium Garnet) crystal and will try to hack BRS-02 to increase its sensitivity by swapping its original CsI(Ti) crystal with GAGG one. Gonna be interesting!
