For all the people who are complaining about the floods in the UAE
These are some information that you should know before talking about flooding in anywhere in this country.
The UAE is a country that has made its way to becoming one of the most powerful countries in the world in a short period of time, and this includes the highly standard and quality of the infrastructure of this leading country.
Yesterday, the UAE witnessed the largest amount of rain during the past 75 years
Rainfall reached 254.8 mm in less than 24 hours. Taking into consideration that the annual rainfall in the country is 80 mm
Note that the average amount of rain in London per month reaches 50 mm, which means that the amount of rain that fell in the UAE in one day is equivalent to more than 5 months of continuous rain in London.
Few countries around the world have infrastructure that can withstand this huge amount of rain in just 24 hours
All governments and private institutions have worked together to ensure the safety of people on this country
So please before commenting about the floods at least appreciate the effort that the UAE is doing to ensure your safety… ❤️🩶✨🔔
