This channel highlights the Elmhurst College Music Production Program. The Minor in Music Production provides students with an expertise in the important environments of production; it is a stand alone minor with no prerequisites, allowing both music and non-music students to pursue it, adding it to their major course of study. This four course sequence addresses both the large environment of recording (MUS 332 and MUS 333), utilizing the Gretsch Recording Studio, and the small environment of recording/production of the Digital Audio Workstation, utilizing both desktop computers and iPads (MUS 290 and MUS 291).
The Minor in Music Production prepares students for multiple career areas including: audio engineer, composer for applied media (film, TV, internet), artist/song writers, and record producer.
