* What’s written is also pronounced the same as 攟お, which means “to emit” when referencing a source of light, for example in this sentence, the star Albireo. Not 100% sure if that’s relevant, but it’s an idea we had.
*This word is used more in a medical sense, so we think the trap may be Despair and the singer is catching it like a disease
*So this line is probably like “you only managed to heal the surface level’ kind of thing, like how skin is the outermost layer of a person.
