Welcome New Subscribers!!
Recently a lot of new folks have joined us, so I wanted to warmly welcome everyone to the Magitek Guitar Facility.
This channel is all about guitar music and I (Jimmy Tokyo, resident guitarist) have been making videos for about a year.

Currently, I'm working on putting together a big set of many of the Town themes from Final Fantasy I through X. This will be an album length release once everything is ready.
But in the meantime, "Welcome to Our Town" from Final Fantasy IV is now available, and I'll do at least one more Town video before the big release of a bunch of songs at once.

Do you know this guitarist? This guy - American guitarist Christopher Parkening - is literally the reason I put down my electric guitar and picked up a classical guitar. My first year of university, I randomly bought an album of his, and it completely changed the direction of my life as a guitarist.
And for my next video, I'll be posting the exact song I heard Parkening play that made me pick up that first classical guitar. In typical Parkening style, it's both an amazing piece...and FIENDISHLY DIFFICULT! ππ
Parkening performs almost exclusively on Jose Ramirez 1a guitars, and for this video, I am pleased to be able to perform on a 1971 Ramirez 1a. Coming soon!

New song coming in a few days! This classic from Final Fantasy V was more of a fight than I'd expected (Both arranging it and performing it). But, the arrangement turned out awesome - pretty different from most every other guitar arrangement out there - and my hands have finally started cooperating when I go to play it. Vid coming soon!

Whoah, almost missed this! Final Fantasy 6 - the best Final Fantasy game with the best soundtrack EVER - just celebrated it's 30th anniversary! π
