IMPORTANT COMMUNITY POST. Please read it carefully, if you have the time.
Hello there, I'd just like to make an update regarding my whole channel.
As you may have noticed, I haven't been very active on this channel, and there are many reasons for it.
First of all, I'm currently occupied with the process of applying for an art high school, and my talent tests will be in about two days or so. I'm in a bit of a time crunch when it comes to finishing up my portfolio and generally practicing, and I've made lots and lots of artwork that I just haven't had the time to share on the channel. Sorry about that. Once this whole mess will be behind me, I'll make sure to share some of the things I've created over the time of improving my art skills.
Second of all, and this will be a bit personal: I've been struggling with very severe mental health issues, I'm in the process of getting treatment but my mental state has been steadily declining for the past few months. It's gotten especially bad during the Christmas holidays. So I just haven't been feeling up to making videos for any of you, when my whole state of mind has been getting worse and worse. If I'll get better, then my upload schedule should hopefully be a little more consistent.
And third of all: I'm just not happy with the type of content I've produced in the past. Not only are the videos just not up to my standard, and I have had urges to unlist/take down all of them, but also.. my piano playing is not only not my biggest passion, but also not the best thing I have to offer. The things I'm the most proud of are my writing and my art, which is why I'd either like to try dipping my foot into analysis videos, or just... doing what I want to do the most and upload art videos instead of piano content. I did upload some of my old art up here on the community page, but it hasn't gotten as much recognition as my not-so-good piano covers. Which is why I think that art videos would be a good thing to motivate me to upload more.
I'm also quite unsure about how I'd like to present myself on this channel. I really feel like I've built up this sort of wholesome persona around myself on this channel, but in reality I'm an extremely edgy (and emo) teenager who sometimes just wants to make angsty content to vent about my own life to cope with what's been happening in it, and share my experiences in ways that could hopefully help others as well... but I feel like on this channel, I'm not allowed to do so due to not only my previous content/reputation, but also due to the fact that I feel like it'd just scare my followers away, or turn them away from looking at what I make.
For that very reason, I've been contemplating making a second channel that would be way more personal, and would focus on not only the things I struggle with, but also on the things I'm passionate about, in the style I'd be the happiest with. I'm just not sure if wholly rebranding this channel would be up to anyone's tastes, so I might abandon it/be less active, and start from scratch with a new account. I'm not sure about this one, so if you have any advice for what I should do, please make sure to tell me.

It's Undertale's 8th anniversary, next month on the exact same day will be my personal two year anniversary in the fandom... Time sure does fly fast.
I'm currently working on a fanart piece for the anniversary, and it's coming along quite well.

I randomly looked at my channel and found out that I have 17 subscribers now...?
Oh wow, that's a lot more than what I was expecting to ever achieve...
Just wanted to give some updates on what the hell I'm even gonna do with this channel.
So, that big project I've been CONSTANTLY BRINGING UP is being delayed. The art I've made for it (yes, it involves a lot of drawings) looks really bad by my current standards, it doesn't hold up anymore so I'd like to remake most of it... which is gonna take a long time. I'd also like to pay more attention to character designs this time around and try to actually find out how I'll portray each figure in the project before I start working on it in the first place. Which is something that I initially did not do, and would like to try doing before remaking the pre-existing assets.
But, to get something out for you here, I'd like to focus on other things while I figure out what to do with the whole big project- things like remaking the Spamton short, for example. It does not look good, but it's the most viewed video on my channel and that upsets me because it just... looks mediocre in my eyes when I compare it to what I create nowadays. It's been... interesting seeing all this activity around a video that I'm no longer all that proud of, and it has been the driving motivation for my urge to remake the whole thing.
So yeah, that's about it.
I'll just hibernate in my tiny internet corner for now, and something is gonna happen on here eventually- which is to be expected with my uploads. Wow, I cannot imagine having an actual upload schedule- creative burnout would absolutely obliterate me really soon if that was the case....

Also, a completely random question here- does anyone else here just... get horribly spoiled on a game, learn nearly everything about it including easter eggs and secrets, make content about it... and only then decide to actually play it?
I've had it like this with Undertale, and now even with the Portal games (I've started Portal yesterday and finished it today, and after that I got started with Portal 2, I'm currently at the second chapter).. and even though Portal 1 might be the closest I'll get to playing a game blind, due to the fact that I for some reason just... fixate on the sequel, which was how I've started liking the series in the first place... well, I still know a LOT about these games. Portal 2 especially, as I've said. I can literally quote most of it from memory...
But playing them is just still fun, despite the fact that i'm spoiled and know most of the things.
Because, experiencing a game for yourself is more fun than simply watching someone else play it, no matter if you know the game well or not.
Don't know why I've decided to make this post, it's insanely random, but since I'm playing the Portal games right now it's just been something that's on my mind.
