Hey there everyone! I hope y'all have been having a great holiday season. Got a bit of a long post for y'all regarding my channel, so if you don't want to read the whole sha-bang I got some memes posted near the bottom. It's been about a year since my YouTube channel blew up (at least to me), so I just wanted to update everyone on how I'm doing, what content I'm intending to make, and how I intend to manage my channel going forward.
1. I just want to start by saying thank you to everyone who watches my videos, subscribes, and leaves me comments. I really do enjoy interacting with y'all (even in the limited nature of YouTube's design). It really makes my day reading you guy's comments and just wanted y'all to know I appreciate you guys.
2. I really just created this channel as kind of an inside joke between some peeps as well as a personal dump for some things, I know I make short little funny videos (which I do genuinely enjoy making), but those are difficult for me, because I lack direction in regards on how I want it to come out. That's not to say that I'm going to stop making these videos, but what I'm trying to say is that if anyone has an idea that they would like me to bring to life: just let me know, I love making videos for other people. That's kinda what I created this channel for.
3. In regards to my content; I really want to branch out and make more higher quality content versus the short little edits that I usually make. I think that doing one of the same thing for too long is detrimental to one's creativity, so I may not be uploading as consistently as I was last year, but I'm not giving up on making quality content for you guys!
4. One thing that would be nice is if I were able to get monetized. YouTube already runs ads on smaller creators videos without the creators having much of a say-so, so I think it's only fair that I attempt to get monetized, so I can, well get paid first of all, and better manage the ads that are shown on my channel (don't really know how that works to be honest). Thing is YouTube has been blocking me for about a year now when it comes to monetization. Something about "Reused Content", which sucks, but I have a plan when it comes to that.
4.5. I also want to say that I'm not creating content just to make money. Sure it would be nice, but I really just want to make silly videos for people to make people laugh.
5. Regarding my plan to get monetized; I created a second channel for my well "less desirable videos" where I intend to post any content that may bar me from being monetized. I also think it's a good idea, just in case something happens to my main account. If any videos seem to just disappear from my main channel, there'll be a good chance I posted them on my second channel. Let me also just say that I don't intend to monetize my second channel. I kinda want it to remain free from that kind of thing.

So I just hit 1,000 subscribers yesterday and not gonna lie I am quite excited! I appreciate each and every one of you for watching my videos and tuning in to see the stupid silly videos that I make. If I'm going to be honest I never thought anyone would watch my stuff and that it would just be a channel where I post some inside jokes for my friends, but I suppose I was wrong. I know it may not seem like a "grand accomplishment" in the grand scheme of things, but like I said I genuinely do appreciate each and every one of you. Aight enough with the serious gunk, here's a silly photo.
