Shaykh Salih Al Usaymi, Feb 2 2025:

The wisdom of the king and the deeply rooted knowledge in our land are paragons amongst the virtuous and noble, yet they are also a target for the arrows of the envious and resentful. Those who possess such qualities are human—they succeed and err. The one who seeks the Hereafter supports them in goodness and he unites the people with them, while the one who seeks worldly gains leads them towards evil and alienates others from them.

|| Hanafi Imam Al Hakam Ibn Ma'bad's Poem On The Aqidah Of The Salaf ||

https://youtu.be/lZow6F27GHI

About the Imam:

Al-Imām Al-Faqīh, Abū ʻAbdillāh; Al-Ḥakam Bin Maʻbad Bin Aḥmad Bin ʻUbayd Bin ʻAbdillāh Bin Al-Aḥjam Bin Asd Bin Usayd Al-Khuzāʻī Al-Ḥanafī. From Aṣbahān, passed away year 295 Hijrī. He learnt Fiqh upon the Madhhab of the people of Kufah (the Ḥanafī Madhhab), he was from the major and trustworthy scholars of the Ḥanafī Madhhab, he used to narrate Ḥadīth a lot.
He was knowledgeable in Adab (literature) and Gharīb (meanings of words or speeches which aren't well-known), and authored Kitāb Al-Sunnah Wa-Al-Radd ʻAlā Al-Jahmiyyah, a book which shows the correct Atharī ʻAqīdah of righteous Salaf and a refutation of the deviant Jahmiyyah, which is unfortunately lost but Imāms like Ibn Taymiyyah and Al-Dhahabī quote the book in their own works.
May Allāh have mercy on him and grant him Jannah.

Had to close comments for this video because of the reckless Fatawa being given on what's Shirk and what isn't, baffled at the sheer lack of fear speaking about the Deen of Allah

A classic example of having evil assumptions and judging someone based on the clothes he wears, "if he is Saudi, must be a palace scholar."

59:18

O you who have believed, fear Allah. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow (tomorrow here refers to the day of judgement)- and fear Allāh. Indeed, Allah is Aware of what you do.

I wonder how many people fall into Gheebah and mocking the people of knowledge thinking what they are doing is right

"Al Quaymi, Bajabir, Amir Bahjat are Hanabilah Al Judud!! Mutassibeen."

Such childish insults come from people who have likely never watched a single dars from the Mashayikh and are happy doing Taqlid of their masters (ironically the group loves to talk about how they hate Taqlid, yet unknowingly fall into it)

49:11

O you who believe! Let not a group scoff at another group, it may be that the latter are better than the former. Nor let (some) women scoff at other women, it may be that the latter are better than the former. Nor defame one another, nor insult one another by nicknames. How bad is it to insult one’s brother after having Faith [i.e. to call your Muslim brother (a faithful believer) as: "O sinner", or "O wicked"]. And whosoever does not repent, then such are indeed Zâlimûn (wrong-doers, etc.).
— Al-Hilali & Khan

49:12

O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion; indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting)[1]. And fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is the One Who forgives and accepts repentance, Most Merciful.
