February Update (!)
First of all - thank you so much to everybody who's checked out the 'A Single Pale Rose' video! Every time I go more than a few weeks without uploading there's a growing part of me that's sure nobody will be here when I come back - so thanks again for (temporarily) alleviating that fear.
As for the update part, the next video is indeed gonna be on Farmworld Finn, and I'm hoping to get it out by the end of the week. I know I said in the last update that the next video would be on Jentry Chau, and I still do really want to make some type of video on that show - but I think I need a little more time to figure out exactly how to handle that.
Beyond the Farmworld Finn video - I'm really not sure what'll actually be next - so here's just a few updates on stuff I have somewhere in production:
The next Steven Universe video is still technically up in the air, but I'm leaning towards the next two being deep dives on Malachite and Stevonnie - which could be a really fun set of back-to-back videos since they're not exactly similar fusions. I am quite interested in what you guys would think about that though, since it definitely wouldn't be my usual 'episode breakdown' stuff.
Infinity Train Book 2 is a video that I completed 80% of towards the end of last year before deciding that I really didn't like how it turned out and temporarily moving on - and I haven't looked at it since. My guess is that I'll probably need to completely rewrite it, which is obviously a big undertaking - but I still really hope I can commit some time to it sooner rather than later.
Adventure Time Islands video - still definitely far away from coming out, but it's starting to slightly come together. I'm currently trying to figure out how to present it in a slightly less rigid way than perhaps the concept would indicate, with a style closer to the Titans videos from last year - but we'll see!
Those are the bigger ones, but I'm also working on smaller videos on Regular Show, Samurai Jack, and Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo. I'm hoping to make all 3 of these feel a little less formulaic in comparison to the stuff I've gotten in the habit of making, so hopefully you guys will find them at least half as fun to watch as they are to make.
And that's pretty much everything I've got going on! Trying to make less promises in the update posts this year, so definitely don't expect all the stuff I mentioned in this post to somehow come out in the next month or two - but I just really enjoy sharing what I'm working on for you guys to give feedback on. Thanks as always for caring enough about the stuff I make to read all this, and I'll hopefully see you on Sunday with some Farmworld Finn talk!

End of Year Update (!)
First of all, I just want to thank you guys for another really fun year on YouTube! I've been making videos across several channels since 2013 - and this was still definitely the most enjoyable year for me yet.
Also, surprisingly good news - as of right now, none of my videos are currently being blocked by Warner! That is something I've been able to say very sparingly throughout the past few months, so I am very grateful that it seems to be the case for now.
To get into my plans for next year, the first few months are probably going to feel a bit familiar, as I'm mostly just going to be doing all the things I couldn't quite fit in 2024. As usual, I'm not exactly great at keeping to plans, but here's a few of the videos I plan to kick next year off with:
As of right now I'm working on the Single Pale Rose video, which has somewhat ballooned into a video about the impact of the twist within the episode, so it'll probably be a bit longer than a usual episode analysis.
After I finish that, I want to make a big video about Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld, which is a Netflix cartoon from last year that I haven't been able to stop thinking about. It's gonna be a full series spoiler-y discussion, but I'll make sure to put in a little recommendation at the beginning for those who haven't seen it yet.
The next video after that will almost certainly be something Adventure Time, but I'm not quite sure what yet. I'm leaning towards either doing a little Farmworld Finn video, or maybe finally facing my fears and doing Astral Plane - but it's still up in the air.
Those three videos will likely get me through the beginning of February, and then it's time to dive into some of the bigger projects I've been pushing off for a bit. Before the end of April I really want to go back and rework the Infinity Train Book 2 video, do a big Stevonnie deep-dive, and finally cover AT's Islands - but all of those will probably be about an hour each so I'll likely space them out a bit, with a few smaller videos in between.
Anyway, that's about all the plans I have to share right now! Thank you so much to anybody who cares enough about my stuff to read all this, and I'll hopefully see you guys in a couple weeks with that Single Pale Rose video!

Copyright Update (!)
Hey guys, you can probably guess what kind of post this is gonna be.
As of this morning(?), Turner has made their funniest copyright decision yet regarding my channel, and have taken down the OK K.O. video from a couple years back on 'Your World is an Illusion' - despite the fact that the show isn't currently able to be legally streamed. For those lucky enough to not have seen it, the video in question is fortunately not some of my best work IMO - but it's still massively disappointing to see decisions like this. Currently I have disputed the claim, and will likely need to appeal it afterwards - but I'll let you guys know how that goes when i know(s).
In better news, I am still (definitely) on track to finally release another video this weekend, as the long-promised Raven video is almost finished. It will probably be my final one of the year, but it's ~45 minutes and honestly one of my favorite things I've ever made - so I'm still really excited to get it out.
Anyway, that's it for this post. Thanks again for anybody who cares enough about my stuff to read stuff like this - and I'll very hopefully see you guys tomorrow with a new video.

Besides just finishing out the year by putting out hopefully two more videos, (Raven video is now fully written!), I'm also trying to catch up on all the shows I've been putting off watching, or just stuff that came out this year. I just finished Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld, (video on that in January, but, spoilers, it kicks ass), and I'm about to finish Mission Hill - so looking for recommendations on what to watch next!
I feel like some of you guys have heard me talk so much about cartoons that you probably know my tastes better than I do, so I'm definitely interested in what you guys think I NEED to see!

December Update (!)
Hey guys, it's time for the monthly apology for why I didn't get more videos out!
Seriously though, just as I finally got the time to work on videos - I, of course, became sick. And while I'm 99% back to normal at this point, my voice still more or less sounds like I'm constantly delivering my final words, so it's probably gonna be a few more days until I can record stuff again.
On the positive side of things, the Raven video is almost entirely written! I still need to write the very end of it, and go back through and make sure it makes sense and such - but it should be ready to record as soon as I am. It's gonna be about 40-50 minutes and I really like what I have so far - so I'm excited to finally get it out.
As for the rest of the month - I'm not quite sure. My original plan was to finish out the year with the Single Pale Rose and Infinity Train Book Two videos, but there's also a Christmas video I kind of want to do, so it'll just come down to how much time I have on whether or not these videos come out this month or in January.
Anyway, that's about it for this one. Originally I was gonna talk about my plans for next year a bit in this update, but considering that I seem to be struggling to get videos out this year - I'll hold off on that. I will say though, I have a ton of really fun topics I want to touch on next year, and I can't wait to share what else I've been working on with you guys. Obviously this has been a slower period for the channel, (2 uploads in ~60 days is making me lose my mind), but the comments I still get every day about cartoons make it incredibly easy to keep working on this stuff - so thank you guys for that.

November Update (!!) And it's another long one -
Hey guys, it's been a while - but I finally have good news! Despite first rejecting my dispute(s), and waiting longer than usual to respond - Turner has finally released their grip on the Future and Stakes videos! So while they are still both fully monetized by Warner Bros., and it does kind of suck that they kept them hostage for a week plus before eventually admitting they should have never been taken down in the first place - at least they're back up!
Anyway, to get to videos that haven't come out yet - it's not exactly a secret that I've been struggling to get things out as of late. A weird mix of personal stuff and channel shenanigans kept me from reaching anything resembling what I wanted October to look like, and then I took a break while all the copyright stuff was going on - so I'm definitely quite behind where I planned to be.
But that's in the past, so here's the plan to hopefully still finish the year strong. Right now, as has unfortunately been the case for like a month now, my biggest goals are to finish the Infinity Train Book 2, and Teen Titans Season 4 videos. Both of which are mostly written, so I think I should be able to get those ready to be recorded pretty quickly. Despite the challenges I have had finishing these, I really do love how both of them are turning out, and I'm really excited to let you guys see them.
Besides that though, and to somewhat curb the effect of releasing back-to-back nearly-hour-long videos that probably won't do super well, I plan to do shorter Adventure Time and Steven Universe ones in between. I've already said what the SU one is, as I finally want to touch on A Single Pale Rose - and the AT one is this really weird video that definitely appeals to me more than it will to most AT fans haha.
So, to simplify the last two paragraphs a bit: Weird Short Adventure Time video -> Teen Titans S4 -> A Single Pale Rose -> Infinity Train Book 2. And while this time I will be smart enough to not mention when I plan to get these out - I will say that I really am excited to get to work on these, and hope to get them out sooner rather than later.
I'll leave most of my plans beyond that for the next update - but I will say that I am REALLY excited for the stuff I want to do in 2025. After my plans kind of fell apart in October, I really tried to reevaluate how I've been approaching this channel since it started to actually get views ~20 months ago - so hopefully that'll stick and I'll have a bit of a healthier mindset about this stuff - at least until Fionna and Cake S2 come out and I once again go psycho.
Anyway, we're in paragraph 8 now, so I'll wrap things up. As I say in pretty much every post on here - thank you so, so much to everybody who ever checks out my stuff. Next year, "AmpleSamuel" will turn 5 years old, which is generally agreed to be the average lifespan of a YouTube channel - but, as long you guys keep watching, (and Turner doesn't terminate my channel) - I can't imagine quitting any time soon. <3

Hey guys, more disappointing news ! (getting to be a bit of a trend at this point haha).
As you may or may not have noticed, over the last couple of weeks, Turner has started to copyright claim videos like never before. And while it's not that upsetting when they just claim the revenue, (although thinking about just how much I've effectively donated to Warner makes me want to puke), this week they've outdone themselves and blocked two videos - the one on Adventure Time's Stakes, and, the most work I've ever put into anything - the Steven Universe Future one.
I shouldn't have to tell you just how frustrating this is. Both of these videos had been claimed for months, and now they've seemingly randomly decided that they just shouldn't be up anymore. I've disputed both claims, and will appeal if that doesn't work - but, if I somehow can't get these videos back up on the channel - I'm not really sure how to proceed moving forward.
Hopefully my next post will be the actual November update, but I'm not exactly amped to do work for the channel while all of this is occurring.
