Look up John 14:6, KJV. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father, but by Him.

We're all sinners, and good works can't erase our sins. God provided a way for us to have Everlasting Life, this way is through Jesus, His only begotten Son. He is the door of the sheep.
Jesus didn't sin while He was on Earth 2000 years ago, and so He was crucified for our sins. He took the punishment that we should take. Then, 3 days later, He was raised from the dead.

Matthew 28:18, KJV: [And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.]

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart, and repent of your sins so that they may be blotted out.
