in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
So I recorded a new video over the weekend, and launched a new channel.
I wanted a place to do 'stuff' other than game development tutorials but I wanted to keep rm2kdev here for you game developers without overloading this with random videos.
Allow me to introduce "Ryan Does Stuff"! If you enjoyed the random videos I did here then please follow me over there and lets continue the conversation :)

I have released a cool asset over on the YYG Marketplace for GMS 2.0 check it out here goo.gl/9trrmiIts a huge time saver, every time i start a mini game I do the same 6 things.
1, Handle Input (in one of many ways)
2, Handle game state between rooms (playing, paused, in menu, player health, exp, current level etc)
3, Create a transition between rooms (fade in out)
4, Setup a room structure (menu > level 1)
5, Make the same two scripts every time (follow and avoid)
6, Setup some spawners for enemies and monsters.
I've decided that I would put together all my notes, and repetitions and build something called the RM2 Framework who's job is to deal with those 6 things. it is a project 'ready to go' it has a couple of movement systems, a way of dealing with states and room transitions, a room structure spawners, scripts for moving towards and away.
If you are interested in a huge time saver please check this out, i will showcase it in some tutorial videos that come out in the future.
Get Here: goo.gl/9trrmi
Would appreciate any comments and feedback, and if you do pick it up drop a review!

Well I ran out of bookmarks (literal, physical bookmarks not of the ctrl+d variety) earlier this evening so it was time to make some new ones and as you all know, I love to upload all kinds of videos beyond just game development tutorials. So if you're keen on seeing a tutorial on how I make my anime bookmarks let me know as a reply to this.
I think they are awesome.
From left to right; Ragnarok Online, Kimi no na wa, Nier, Nier, Persona 4, Catherine (game)

Thanks for participating in the first community requested video poll everyone! I'd like to announce that the winning entry was "Experience, How to deal with levelling up" the video has been created and is available for early viewing over at www.patreon.com/rm2kdev and will be out on the channel later this week for all to view.
Additionally thanks so much for your support! I've read and replied to all the private messages and public comments that came through since the upload of my last video and I love you all thanks so much for the encouragement and support as we kick things back into gear.
Without sounding like Wikipedia lol, your support over on Patreon is VITAL to growing this channel and making it into a place where I can produce you the tutorials you want more often and more frequently so please consider even a buck or two!
Edit: I'll also be using this community tab to keep in touch with you all frequently so check back often :D!
