MAKFOLK is organizer of many festivals that are to bring together performing folk groups from different countries of the world. It is aimed at establishing cultural relations, presenting one's country's culture and getting to know other cultures of the world, thus mutually enriching cultures and contributing to international cultural cooperation. The NGO MAKFOLK is meant to pass folk traditions on to the young generation in order to revive and further develop national cultures.
