Turns out the person you needed to boost your reputation is more obnoxious and insane (in a silly way) than you thought!
Some things about this one since I love info dumping!!
First off, the shades do not do much mind control until the final battle, they just sorta suppress thoughts of questioning, leaving or wondering what is going on. The idea for this kinda comes from the dialogue after the area 4 boss battle. During the final boss battle however, evil mode >:)
(And that's something I'm saving for later, same with how Callie got them in the first place)
We came to the conclusion that Callie somehow figured out how to display stuff on the screen such as eyes and text (rather than the displays that are seen ingame, except during the boss battle where they are more incontrol than Callie is), they can also do text-to-speech :)
