A rock band formed by Akihito Okano (Vo) and Haruichi Shindo (Gt), born in Innoshima, Hiroshima, Japan.
Porno Graffitti made their major label debut in 1999 with “Apollo,” followed by a series of hits including “Agehachou,” “Saudade,” “Oh! Rival,” and many other hit songs.
They are also well-known for singing popular anime theme songs such as “THE DAY” (OP theme for “My Hero Academia”), “Melissa” (OP theme for “Fullmetal Alchemist”), and “Animarossa” (OP theme for “BLEACH”).
On August 3, 2022, they came out with their latest studio album, “Akatsuki”, and started their concert tour titled “18th LIVE CIRCUIT “Akatsuki”” in September, which will tour 25 locations and 29 shows throughout Japan.
