Just finished editing my review of the 1st episode (released) of #MiraculousLadybug season 6. Took me a bit to decide on a spoiler free thumbnail, lol. Video will be out Sunday morning, but early access for channel members will be available tomorrow!

For those who missed it, I injured my hand yesterday venting my frustration from yet another rude jerk at work. Not sure why, but we've been getting a much higher rate of rude calls lately, with one girl getting screamed at for no reason just yesterday, to the point where she was the one asking for a supervisor just to take the call from her. My hand is feeling a little better today, but is still swollen with limited mobility in my fingers. Better than yesterday, but still in recovery. As such, I've changed the plan to do a gimmick run of Pokemon Sword in March/April, to starting it now.
For those who don't know, a "cheese strat" is a strategy used to trivialize otherwise challenging gameplay. I've used some of these in previous playthroughs, but during the Regional Forms LP, we came up with the idea to do an entire run like this. However, since the point of a "cheese strat" is to make the game way easier, I'll be implementing a few challenge rules to balance it out.
1. No items in battle (held items and Pokeballs allowed)
2. No super effective moves in major battles (gym leaders, rivals, evil team, etc)
3. Gym leader battles MUST include at least 1 Pokemon weak to that gym's type in the strategy. It doesn't have to get a KO, but it does have to play a significant role in winning.
4. No overleveling. Right now it's not a hard level cap, but I'm not allowed to go out and train just to beat a gym. Obviously I can train if I'm underleveled, but unless I'm really struggling to beat the gym, then exnay on training. Training for egg moves is the exception, since that Pokemon won't be a permanent party member
5. All Pokemon must be named after different cheese
6. This is not a nuzlocke, so if a Pokemon gets KO'd in battle, they can be revived outside of battle.
7. Dynamax is permanently banned. The point is to cheese our way through with strategy, not to overpower our opponent. Dynamax raids are the exception.
I was going to do this run anyway, but I'd been planning to do it closer to my birthday/April Fools, since it's more for fun than any sort of challenge. The reason I'm doing it now, and how it relates to my injury, is because Sword and Shield have a feature in the options menu for casual controls. This makes the game playable with 1 hand, and only a single joycon. This way I can let my injured hand rest, and play the game with my good hand. Once my hand is better, we can resume our other playthroughs.
Persunday tomorrow will probably end up getting canceled as well, since P4 Arena is ABSOLUTELY a 2 handed game. Even if the swelling in my hand goes down completely by morning, it just feels safer. I'm still deciding on if I'll do the same with Monday's stream, since that game is less intense, and I technically CAN adjust the controls on that one to be pure keyboard. We'll have to see.

Happy New Years my fairies! This year, my new year's resolution is to get back to my more creative projects, starting with Ask Kitty Noire. For those unaware, I have a genderbent Miraculous AU comic that I run over on my Tumblr (link below). The comic is interactive, which means you get to talk directly to Kitty Noire. You can either leave an ask over on my Tumblr, or if you don't have an account, you can also leave a comment on any community post or video related to the comic. As for my other projects, I don't want to make any promises, but I'm hoping to be able to get back to What If Adrien Had A Twin Sister (AdriTwins for short). A big thing holding me back from this series is not having time to edit, but that should be less of an issue once I get my new schedule at work. I'd love to hire an editor, but they're unfortunately expensive, and I just simply can't afford that. I'm also hoping to get back to making shorts and videos using my Vroid models. I just have a bit more to finish the Lady Noire transformation sequence, and then I'd like to do Starlight from AdriTwins.
I don't plan to stream today, but tomorrow we'll be doing the 1st shiny hunt of the year! Just like last year, we'll be hunting for Pokemon matching the animal of the year. This one's special, as it's the year of the snake, which is my zodiac sign. I've already got the Arbok line, so we'll primarily be focusing on Seviper and the Snivy line.

No stream today. Sinus infection hit hard today, with lots of sneezing and tissues. This sort of thing usually only lasts a day though, so I should be better by tomorrow. Remember to take care of your health my fairies!

Thanks to the holidays bringing out the worst people at my job this week, I've decided to turn this weekend into a Persona weekend. We'll play more Pokemon for Christmas week, but all I wanna do right now experience stories that make my heart full, and Persona does this so well
