I never thought I would have to write something like this but after the last episode of The 100, I have no choice.
SPOILERS AHEAD for 7x13:
I will, eventually, make one last Bellarke video. I won't acknowledge the pointless, bad writing that was Bellamy, Clarke and Bellarke's ending but, for now, I can't.
Jason managed to destroy SEVEN years of character arcs and development of his two main characters. And for what? Shock value? = Lazy writing. Bellamy died as a villain, hated by the people he loved, without a redemption arc, without making amends with his sister, best friend and girlfriend. He died alone, believing everyone hated him. Clarke was protecting protect Madi? In season 5, she didn't kill Echo and "let" Madi be in REAL danger and go to war. Here, Bellamy was freaking crying begging her to trust him, to believe him that he wouldn't let anything happen to Madi and she killed him? She would never. Bellamy died for nothing. It doesn't make any sense and it doesn't have ANY meaning. It was plain disrespectful to the characters, actors and fans.
Bellamy Blake deserved better! So did Clarke and Bellarke.
I promise I WILL make a last Bellarke video that will honor the true characters we know and love. I just need a little time to figure out the best way to do that. <3
