PSA: I've just gone through and deleted/privated/unlisted a bunch of old videos. What's public now is the only stuff I really want to have public; I realise most people that have stumbled across this channel aren't here for gaming junk or any other edited ramblings. That said though, I've got plans to incorporate a ton of old stuff into a larger video documenting my entire history as a solo musician, so that'll include the Youkai Reload and UNDERCOVER albums as well as anything else that's missing.
In other news, thanks for 300k views on Fallen Angel! It still boggles my mind how much steam that little old remix picked up. I won't remake it since I'm terminally short on time and have many music projects on my mind, but I'm happy it achieved what it did. Speaking of music projects, next on the horizon is a lofi-funky-jazzy album of all-original tracks that pays tribute to my citypop influences, and it's almost done! I hope to release it very soon.
Thanks as well for 500 subs, it's only a small milestone in the grand scheme of YouTube but considering that a lot of vaporwave and future funk artists don't even bother to dip their toes into this platform, I'd say it's pretty good going. I'll keep making music as long as I have the ability and the motivation to, so I hope that I'll still be able to attract a few interested listeners. I also want to do more streams (I've done some bass playing streams on Twitch as well as the live sets you see here), but I need to fix my setup before that can happen.
I'm a busy guy and I know my rate of output isn't even close to what most indie musicians achieve nowadays, but I'm still chipping away at it, so I really appreciate having listeners here who are willing to hold out for the sparse uploads from me. Thanks for waiting, and I'll be back soon with some brand-new stuff.

I'm getting another live set ready to stream soon at www.twitch.tv/azurestarmusic . Will probably be later this week and late-night NZ time (GMT+12), but no worries for anyone who might miss it because of timing - I will upload the VOD here as soon as I can

Hi, my name's Rory and I'm a musician from New Zealand producing vaporwave, future funk, lofi and occasionally other stuff. This channel serves as an archive of all my official releases as well as a handful of other creative junk I've made. Profile icon is from a picrew by @kureihii on twitter
