Suzie & the Rocket is a group created by Manon Zouiche and Franck Garcia. Their proposal is an expedition through Californian pop reminiscent of the 70's and a trip through the unmistakeable landmarks of English pop. The atmosphere is unquestionably cinematographic, thanks to the influence of various Italian movie compositors. Manon & Franck's undying eagerness for musical innovation, not to mention the uncovering of hidden musical treasures, has culminated in this very personal album, "The Karel Show", which is due out in December 2023.
The melodies and Manon's oneiric inner life conjoin with Franck's science and multi-instrumental background (as in Mlle Caro & Franck Garcia) to lead us - dancing - though a sunny labyrinth of electric pop that's occasionally dreamy & even melancholic but eternally (& tenderly) psychedelic.
