The 90s is my mentor and every day of my life is a spice for my music style.
I got interested in turntablism when I saw a DJ playing in a clothing store Syndicate in Helsinki. I was about 15 years old when I made my first beats with PC trackers, then moved to FL3.0 and got my first sampler, Korg ES1. At that time I collected a lot of musical information from 411VM skateboarding VHS tapes. Access to information was more difficult when there was no internet like today, so I visited a lot of record stores: Funkiest, KoolKatRecords, Lifesaver
I got my first Akai MPC 2000 XL sampler at the age of 17 in 2002. Now I've experienced everything in my life and the MPC has faithfully walked by my side. After testing a lot of samplers and stuff I rock the Isla S2400 now. However, I don't want to drown in the instruments, so I keep it small-scale.
Nowadays I'm a hardware fanatic, free time hiphop digger, og member of Lakend4Life hiphop crew and founder of LakendBeats (2001) movement in Järvenpää.
