After almost three weeks with the Ultra, I’m completely hooked on One UI 7. Two standout features immediately come to mind: the control center, which remains perfectly functional regardless of the phone’s orientation, and something I haven’t seen since the iPhone 6 Plus days - a beautifully designed and genuinely useful home screen in landscape mode.
I could probably dedicate an entire video to all the subtle refinements like the OS intelligently keeping a recently added contact at the top of your list or the smooth, synchronized animation of the charging bar and the now bar in general (except maybe for the Now Brief 😂).
I’m not even talking about Good Lock here. Everything that impresses is out-of-the-box improvements - e.g. labels can be removed for a cleaner look, and perhaps my favorite - the search bar being at the bottom of the app drawer, which makes app access effortless.

- The Galaxy S25 Slim is impressively thin at 6.4mm.
