#MélancoliqueFEATURE #YouTubeCOMPOSERS (No.1 NG Tsz Kiu)

"This is the third and final movement of my Piano Sonata no.3 in C-sharp minor. It’s probably the most perplexing music I have ever composed. For me it’s a struggle between Beethovenian heaviness (Es muss sein!) v.s. Unbearable lightness of blues. Even though the first and second movement of the same Sonata has been commented as “random” before, I believe this one the most random of all haha."

You guys gotta check out these 'Unreleased' recordings of Horowitz all recorded within consecutive weeks of his touring. I checked these out because I wanted more definition on Rachmaninoff's Moment Musical in B-minor (No.3) He plays this piece differently week to week, sometimes fast in about 4:30, then sometimes slower closer to 6:30. There are also maybe 4-5 alternate recordings of the Rachmaninoff Sonata 2, again all slightly different nuances in each performance. I'd love to eventually see some sheet music videos comparing these recordings❤️‍🔥

Congratulations to all the Medalists and Competitors! Really enjoyed the live-stream this year I was able to catch about 75% of it❤️‍🔥 Ft. Worth Symphony sounded great, hope you guys continue making a great name for Texas-Arts, and video work ‪@TheCliburn‬ was A+++ The sheet-music performances is a huge step-up in the game. All the repertoire people performed was enjoyable and I listened to a few new pieces.

"The Fifteen Symphonies of Valse Mélancolique is an Homage and direct Continuation of the Seven Symphonies of Kiakhosru Shapurji Sorabji which is an Elaboration of the Symphony of Charles-Valentin Alkan, who first proved after Bach's and Hummel's Transcriptions that a "Symphony' (or Concerto) is a Musical-Form and has nothing to do with the make-up of the Soloist or Ensemble-Members: A 'Classical' Symphony could be written Prepared-Piano, Elephants, and Complaining-Karens as long as the movements follow the expected norms of Tempi established by Beethoven, Haydn, and Mozart."

#beforeANDafter #MélancoliqueCleaning

I cleaned (and tuned) a piano used by Jelly Roll to write music during private sessions yesterday now in private hands. It is the dirtiest thing I ever played... like the guy smokes a pack of cigs in one-hand while eating a dozen-donuts with the other intermittently picking out notes on the piano in-between chewing, trying to breath, and Googling why hand-washing is necessary. I gave the whole thing a deep car-detail and the inside was pretty clean - Only the keys looked like direct-reflection of the grime and filth found permanently on his face.

My Interpretation of Debussy's 10th-Prelude includes a new-view, new-light, and new-realization upon the story of the Ys legend in divergent-manners compared to Everybody, no matter their classification of Art (visual, sound, dance), I can only see/hear blind-deaf-mute Mannerisms mimicked through some form or another thus consolidating failures realized in those lesser depictions replicating without a degradation of telomeres. And of course, Wikipedia follows perfectly in-line like a marching-clarinet player following his charts.
