My name is Dimitri Mavraganis and I have been training in the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 1997. My current rank is 4th degree BJJ black belt. I began my training with the Gracie family, and received my black belt in 2006 from the Machado Brothers (Rigan, Jean Jacques, Carlos, Roger, and John). Along the way I have won State, National, Pan-American, and World BJJ titles, and have owned my Academy in Lakewood CA since 2005 (DM Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy).
The goal of our channel is to provide instruction and entertainment to men, women. and children, about BJJ, Submission Grappling, and Self Defense.
